Voting carefully is the primary responsibility of living in a democracy, says actor Ankit Bathla, who is currently seen as Shiva Agnihotri in Savdhaan India - Apni Khaki. He adds that he hopes that people will carefully choose their leaders as the country’s success depends on this.
“Leaders are always very important for a country, and a country's progress to a large extent depends on the policies that the leaders are making. That's why it is important to choose the right candidates who are deemed fit to be part of the country's leadership,” he says.
Talking about the current government, he says, “I believe the current ruling party has done a lot of good things for the country and has placed India on the world map, especially because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So, I am a big fan because of one simple reason—I believe his ties with neighbouring countries like the USA and UK, among others, have significantly raised India's international profile.”
He adds, “Moreover, I believe that the country will become a major power, will grow financially, and create numerous job opportunities due to the public sector's expansion aligned with his vision. Therefore, I definitely support the current ruling party.”
