Actor, dancer, entrepreneur Manjari Mishra, who has been part of plays such as Rudali, Kashinama, Lokkatha, Mukti, Maiyyat, Beti Aai, as well as short film Main Tumhara, says that January 22nd will forever be etched in our history. The Ram Temple inauguration at Ayodhaya is a proud moment for every Hindu, she says.
“The whole world was waiting for the historic Ram temple Inauguration ceremony here on January 22, stressing the strength of 'vikas' (development) and 'virasat' (heritage) which will take the country forward. This is not only a proud moment for the whole India but also a very joyful moment inside everyone’s heart,” she says, adding, “I was personally so happy and joyful the entire day, seemed like a second Diwali for me.”

Talking about the significance of this the Ramayana, she says, “Ramayana is one of the oldest and longest epics in Indian history. In spite of being a king, Prabhu Shriram’s life was full of hardships, pain, and suffering which was also shared by his beloved wife Sita, and brother, Lakshmana, during and to some extent, even after their fourteen-year exile.”

She adds, “The first and the most important lesson of Ramayana is the significance of Dharma in one’s life. Another important lesson from Ramayana is the power of unconditional love and devotion.”
